An estimated 30% of the food produced for human consumption globally is lost or wasted somewhere along the food supply chain. A lot of this wastage can be attributed to out of date software that doesn’t communicate to other food systems or adapt to the complex world of food trade and logistics.
Altrufood was built to offer affordable software solutions to the food industry, solving problems, from availability of chilled storage space, to unused truck capacity.

Jacob Cooper is CEO and Co-Founder of Altrufood.
With over six years of International Sales and Operations experience at Australia's largest Dairy manufacturer, Jacob has a deep understanding of the complex problems within food supply chains and logistics functions.
Jacob brings his eye for UX design and software development skills to the Altrufood team.
